Situated in the heart of the historic town, this hotel, built in 1893, is the oldest in Sopron. It offers a fusion of traditional and modern hospitality. Free WiFi is provided on-site. This is an elegant hotel from a bygone era, but the facilities and the service are everything you would expect from a modern hotel. My room was large and beautifully furnished, the delicious buffet breakfast is served in a banquet room with fancy furniture and crystal chandeliers. All of that, and the price I paid for the room was so reasonable! I kept sending pictures to my friends and family saying, "Can you believe I'm getting ALL THIS for THIS MUCH money?

Air-conditioned room (which helped us survive that boiling hot and sleep well), friendly and helpful staff. Good wifi.

The Erhardt Panzió is located in the historic centre of Sopron, 200 metres from the Fire Tower. It offers air-conditioned rooms and private on-site parking. Overall a very pleasant experience. The accommodation is very well located in the city center. The personel is welcoming, the rooms are very clean and warm and the breakfast was nice. I highly reccomend it.

Palatinus Hotel can be found right in the historical centre, close to the symbol of the city, the Tűztorony (Fire Tower) and only 100 metres from the Liszt Ferenc conference hall. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Personnel is very helpful and kind. We appreciated the cookies offered as a welcome. Most of all we enjoyed the location of the hotel: directly in the historic town of beautiful Sopron.

Hotel Civitas is located in Sopron’s city centre, a 10-minute walk away from the train and bus stations and close to the city's medieval monuments and palaces. Loved the warm welcome from reception, spacious room with comfortable beds, smelt lovely too, great selection at breakfast served by cheerful restaurant staff, great price and also close to town centre and railway station
