The rooms are air-conditioned. Each unit comes with a flat-screen cable TV, and contains a private bathroom with a shower. Staff friendly, we could even check-in 1.5 hrs early The building is an old mill, we come from a mill tradition family ourselves so was a great find. Room was large, bright and not at all noisy. But it depends were your room is located because there is indeed a large road nearby. Breakfast was aboundant and the best I had in 1 week of traveling.

Dating back to 1690, Régi Posta Hotel és Étterem is Debrecen’s oldest standing building. The completely refurbished property does an excellent job of blending modern design elements with some of the building’s original features. We stayed only one night at Regi Posta Inn, but utterly enjoyed our brief stay, We were greeted with a very friendly staff member who took care of the quick check-in. The room was nicely decorated and equipped with a very comfortable double bed. The terrace was a treat - we sipped our after dinner wine while gazing the in-style courtyard and the traditional architecture. We had a great dinner at the restaurant - hearty portions of local dishes accompanied by Palinka and wine. The breakfast (included in the room price) offers local products and very good coffee. The location couldn`t be more central - the main square (Kossuth ter) is only 2 minutes walk away. If we return to Debrecen we`ll definitely stay here again.

The rooms are decorated with elegant wooden furniture and most are on 2 levels. Staff at Reception Desk spoke English and was helpful. Location and parking great. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Thank you!
