The family-run Bagolyvár Inn enjoys a scenic location amid the old vineyards of Pécs, and offers you charming rooms furnished in rustic Hungarian style. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfy. Wonderful place to start a hike, and even the city center is walkable from the Panzió. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Our character-filled room offered a tranquil retreat, while the visit to the wine cellar beneath the newly renovated restaurant was both fascinating and unforgettable.

Boutique Hotel Sopianae is set in a fully renovated historic building from the 18th century. Clean and comfortable room. Good choice of breakfast. Would love to go back!

The building was lovely renovated recently and located at the centre with a parking garage. The staff was very nice and breakfast was great as well.

I can't remember the last time I was at a bed and breakfast in Hungary and was actually served a breakfast that contained Hungarian food (thank you!). The hotel is fabulously eccentric and its decor quite fascinating, the staff were warm and unusually friendly for Hungarian standards. Would recommend this spot.

Situated in the village of Balatongyörök and the Balaton Lake reachable within a 10-minute walk, Villa Astoria offers an outdoor pool, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Great welcome from the owner. The room was excellent, clean with a large balcony and a view on the pool. The breakfast was fantastic. Parking is also safe for motorbikes or bicycles. In short, a pure 10.

Venusz Hotel is situated in Siófok, only 150 metres from the beach at Lake Balaton and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas in the hotel. Great location - walking distance from the main station (both bus and train) and about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Well-equipped, clean, and modern interior. The room was a bit hot - no air-conditioning, but they supplied a fan, as well as access to a great-sized terrace. Breakfast was also included in the price. The receptionist was a gem, very polite, welcoming, and helpful. Overall, it was a positive experience.
