Very kind and helpful daytime concierge (stored our backpacks until check-in time and then delivered them to our room).

Boutique Hotel Sopianae is set in a fully renovated historic building from the 18th century. The staff was more than helpful (one of the most elegant and good manners person I ever met worked at the reception), the rooms are spacious and clean, parking is a huge help, breakfast was decent (but nothing to complain about the quality). It has an elevator (despite the fact that it is one floor building).

We had a short overnight stay, but still managed to use the spa in the evening- such a treat after a long drive! The hotel team was welcoming and helpful, we had dinner at the neighbouring pizza place. The breakfast was also really good. So 10/10 :)

Venusz Hotel is situated in Siófok, only 150 metres from the beach at Lake Balaton and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas in the hotel. Great location - walking distance from the main station (both bus and train) and about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Well-equipped, clean, and modern interior. The room was a bit hot - no air-conditioning, but they supplied a fan, as well as access to a great-sized terrace. Breakfast was also included in the price. The receptionist was a gem, very polite, welcoming, and helpful. Overall, it was a positive experience.
