Inspired by the styles of the colonial era, Hotel Tugu Malang is located in East Java. We spent 3 nights at Tugu Malang in January 2025 and found it to be the perfect base for visiting Mt Bromo and it was within walking distance to the Chinese temple and local flower markets. They served a complimentary afternoon tea each day with various local treats and a range of herbal teas which were delicious - most of the treats came from the neighbouring bakery that is also worth a visit. We liked the furnishings in our room and the toiletries were top notch. They provided fresh fruit in our room on a daily basis and we had fresh flowers which were a lovely touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel contains a treasure trove of artworks and antiques and well worth an exploration. We loved our meals at the hotel restaurants, especially SaigonSan. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room was very spacious and well-appointed. There is a huge bathtub and a separate shower. Very cosy. The breakfast spread was very good and the service staff are always very friendly. First impression by front desk staff, Alicia, already set the expectation of a wonderful stay.

It was allowed to book 1 room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids), but there was only one queen bed. Lovely staff helped to organize the second room for kids on the same floor. Nice view, comfortable beds, generous breakfast with a combination of traditional and European dishes. Kids enjoyed the pool and gym. The gym is not big, but enough for a workout with weights and some other equipment. Drinking water is on every floor.

Situated 5 minutes’ drive from Tunjungan Plaza Mall, Hotel Santika Premiere Gubeng Surabaya operates a 24-hour front desk with free WiFi accessible throughout the hotel. I stayed one night after my long flight. Very nice room with a great view. Lovely breakfast and great and helpful staff.

Swiss-Belinn Manyar offers luxurious comfort with an outdoor pool, spa and a restaurant. It also provides free shuttle service to Galaxy Mall, a 5-minute drive away. Excellent 3 star hotel that far exceeded my expectations....in fact I had to check at reception, was it 3 star or 4 star.... Staff went above and beyond, in my experience and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout Asia and Europe for that matter...100 percent in my book..😁

Situated 3.5 km from Malang Train Station, Ibis Styles Malang boasts a semi-outdoor pool and a restaurant. I absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, e.g., they helped me booking bus tickets and printing them. Aside from tgat they always had a smile on their face. The room was very comfortable and provided aircon, fridge, kettle, complimentary water/coffee/tea, safe. A hairdryer could be borrowed from the reception desk. The views from my room on the 11th floor were amazing. I especially liked the interior design. The hotel’s location was quite central with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets nearby. I would come back in a heartbeat!

One of our favorite places during our 3 week holiday in Indonesia. The staff was super helpful and always there if you needed help (especially Tegar), the gardens look absolutely beautiful and the room itself is pretty good for the price. Also the Restaurant had an AMAZING choice of breakfast dishes and is a romantic place to have a dinner with really good food. Overall we enjoyed our time and would always come back 🙏

A 5-minute drive from Malang Town Square, Kertanegara Premium Guest house offers modern comfort in its air-conditioned rooms. The hotel has a restaurant and free parking spaces on site. The hotel was located close to the train station. We took a Grab taxi to get there, and there was a parking lot for stopping or parking. The hotel staff were very polite and tried to help us. There was no fridge in the room, but we were allowed to use the hotel’s fridge. The room was clean and quiet.
