The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly appreciated it. The host was friendly, warm, and possessed an excellent sense of humor. The breakfast was generous and accompanied by a variety of options made available to us. The premises were clean, full of charm, and offered a beautiful view of the water. I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbour and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. The location is absolutely stunning, most rooms have a view of the fjord, it's so peaceful there, I loved the breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a few minutes walk to the village along the fjord and the community park with panoramic views of the whole fjord. This was my second visit and I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel allows you to see the light changing over the bay which feels like every 5 mins. Wonderful staff. We had executive rooms which were huge - ample storage space, peaceful view, everything 'worked' in the room, comfy beds, good shower. This place is simple, perhaps a bit dated for some but it has a special charm. 5 mins from the victorian seaweed baths, which is a must. Other than that just walk on the beach and relax. The restaurant serves great chowder amongst other goodies. Special shout out to Sarah on reception and Olivia and Mary in the restaurant
