The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. Excellent location with a beautiful view. The host was lovely and extremely accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very fresh!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

Also thank you for the birthday surprise—it really made day extra special. The food was also fantastic—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every meal was a treat, and the cozy setting made dining even more enjoyable. Honestly, everything was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in Roundstone, Co.Galway.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Attention to detail was impeccable, beautiful hotel and yards, views and gorgeous rooms. Loved our stay, 2nd time here. Can’t wait to return, loved the history and music at night.

This property is located a short 5 minute walk from town centre - a quiet and peaceful setting overlooking pastureland. Dun Ri was so very clean, the owners and staff were kindly attentive, and the breakfast offered was exquisite. This is exactly the type of family operated accommodation it is a pleasure to support with your business. Book without hesitation.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Exceptionally high standard of guest accommodation, absolute comfort, attention to every detail, comfortable furniture, spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings, artwork, small details that received very careful attention. I have travelled in over 30 countries, have stayed in many B&Bs and occasionally in 5-star hotels, but never found a place that equalled the careful thought that has been put into the accommodation at Buttermilk Lodge in Clifden. We will certainly return and we have taken the business cards provided to share with all our friends. Having a private lounge/kitchen in addition to ensuite bedroom was wonderful, with large TV in both rooms. Our hostess, Catriona, had left very welcome food in the frig -including orange juice, milk, plenty of butter, jam and marmalade - and we greatly appreicated her home-made brown bread and fruitcake - which was really thoughtful and generous. The fact that Buttermilk Lodge provides conditions for self catering in a private lounge with fully equipped kitchen, made our stay less expensive than if we were eating out every day. This accommodation is very conveniently located to Clifden town and access to all the wonders of the Connemara landscape and coastal resorts.

At the edge of Clifden, All the Twos offers rooms with spacious bathrooms. Guests can enjoy mountain views, free Wi-Fi, and free parking, 15 minutes’ drive from Connemara National Park. Very very roomy, comfortable king size bed, quiet, price very reasonable. No breakfast but coupon given for €10 breakfast at downtown hotel which we used and was very good. Front desk person gave good advice to our questions. On edge of town but 1 km walk to the Station bar.

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Good location.

Offering a private beach area, Connemara Sands is located in Mannin Bay, just a 10-minute drive from Clifden. Free WiFi access is available and the property offers free parking. Nice place, nice facilities, very comfortable house. Possibility to have restaurant meals in place.
