On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. The room was kind of a perfect little room, comfortable bed, and had a small balcony that looked out over the water and mountains in Connemara. Beautiful! Had an actual hot-breakfast included in the booking which was terrific. Very happy with the booking.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. The B&B was a little apartment, equipped with absolutely everything needed for a short stay. It was perfectly organized, a fresh brown bread and a fruit cake made by the owner was a nice surprise on arrival. Very good location, you can walk to the town, at the same time local attractions like Sky Road Loop or Kylemore Abbey are easy to reach by car. Absolutely perfect place for a stay.

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Good location.
