Just 500 metres North of Carlow in a quiet mature area (a 10-minute stroll), Avlon House Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for touring the South-East of Ireland. The food was delicious and there was lots of it! He printed out directions and gave us wonderful advice of things to see! Everything was very clean and there was lots of places to store clothes and items. ( also lots of outlets)

In the centre of Carlow town, Dinn Ri Hotel features boutique rooms, an on-site nightclub and live band venue, and an outdoor terraced bar. The stylish sports bar includes three 48-inch plasma TVs. Loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. I'm sorry I didn't get the girl on receptions name, but she was so nice and helpful, and made us feel at home from the get go. The cocktails in the bar are amazing, my partner likes an Old Fashioned cocktail, and even tho I don't think it was on the menu, the lovely lad with the tattoos made him one, and it was one of the best ones he had in a long time. Overall 10/10 for the stay.
