There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

This recently renovated bed and breakfast is located 13 km from Dromoland Golf Course and 13 km from Dromoland Castle. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The host was welcoming and friendly, gave us lots of information about where to go and what to see, very lovely couple very accommodating, nice fresh clean B&B, we only stayed for one night, wish we had time to stay another. Highly recommend. Had a lovely breakfast. Very close to the airport and bus stop, a local pub and ATM.

The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming – and made us feel truly cared for. The location is perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet just a short walk from pubs with live traditional music and great food. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Shannon Airport is less than 15 minutes’ drive from this bed and breakfast. Shane and Sinead were warm and welcoming hosts who provided spotlessly clean rooms, and a most delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and quiet, set in the countryside, but within a short walking distance to Bunratty Castle, Durty Nelly's, and The Creamery Bar & Restaurant. The beds are so comfortable! The shower pressure in the bathroom was wonderful, as well. We would definitely stay here again!
