Originally the Hibernian Bank, this building overlooks the Parade, popular because it's close to Kilkenny Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre. The breakfast was fabulous with a wide array of options. The beds were very comfortable. The bar and music on Friday night was excellent and made for a fun atmosphere. Staff were attentive, kind, and helpful!

We arrived down from Dublin airport after a delayed flight as the restaurant was closing - the receptionist Savio (?) voluntarily went and asked the kitchen staff if they would delay finishing so we could be served, they did and we were able to enjoy a great meal. Johnny the waiter was also very helpful and obliging, The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable. There was an extensive selection at breakfast to choose from with good coffee. Checkout was quick and friendly. Wonderful staff and a comfortable stay.

Exceptional presentation and fantastic stay - room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, facilities and conveniences excellent, restaurant onsite food was exceptional, hotel was exceptionally furnished and decorated - absolutely spectacular. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff allowed us to leave car in their onsite car park till later in the afternoon so we could wander around town and the Kilkenny castle before we headed off on our journey later in the afternoon. Hotel right in the Main Street area handy to everything and easy to walk to many tourist attractions. Entertainment and food in restaurant was fantastic All staff very very friendly and helpful . Right opposite St Luke’s General Hospital, this boutique hotel offers newly refurbished chic and traditional rooms. All of the rooms have the usual facilities as well as free wifi and 40’’ smart TV’s so you can binge on your favorite shows. Brendan at reception very friendly welcome .... even wanted to get our bags carried up to our room (they dont have any lifts) I loved the book snug on 1st floor landing and the beds were soooo comfy!
