We had the pleasure of staying a few years ago in the castle, but must say the Lodge was an amazing, relaxing place, great art, and wonderful staff and no doubt to go back in near future, five star service equal to the castle.

The gym and pool were of a very high standard. Our room was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and they had a special dessert plate sent up to the room. The grounds are awesome too. Good facilities, lovely location, very nice, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, very friendly staff. Also had a very nice meal in the restaurant. Views from the hotel were also lovely

Each bedroom at Westport Country Lodge has a unique design, toiletries and an Italian-style bathroom. Beautiful property. Good breakfast. Rooms are lovely and the bed was so comfy. Would highly recommend this place, wish we could have stayed longer.
