Staying in this Victorian B&B felt appropriate for our stay in Westport. Our room was cozy, the bed firm, and there were plenty of places to unpack. The location was perfect–a short walk into town, easy parking, and quiet at night. Our hostess was fantastic and so was the breakfast she made us. She even got us some vegetarian sausages and white pudding for our fry-up!

Genuinely dont know where to start as - even before we reached the place - we realized the exceptional service that was awaiting us. Not only did they accept us even post the their normal check-in timings - Alex for genuinely concerned about us - which was visible as we arrived - which was much more than anyone could ask for, and John going 'Above and Beyond' to help us with some wonderful Dinner - I dont think I would be able to justify in words how exceptional their service was and for sure would Visit again - and recommend others too :) Alex and John - Can't thank you'll enough!

The award winning Library Restaurant serves fresh country house cuisine, with our signature dish 'The Drunken Bullock' steak flambéed at the table on a 15th Century Sword. The Tween Decks provides fantastic, 17th-century nautical decor, and the Armada Bar is built from the salvaged, 400-year old wood of shipwrecked Spanish ships Everything was perfect. The food is very good, the beds are amazing. Everybody here is so kind and available. If you need to pass by Ballina, I recommend to stop by. We spend a wonderful time here.

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Dating back to 1845, this contemporary country house hotel boasts free WiFi and free parking. I have booked for both my friend and I so its a bit of a repeat but with some Additions Location, courtesy of staff, activities like falconry and walking the woods with wolfhounds was magical. Staff coordinated among each other like a well tuned team so kudos You never have to ask twice Fabulous food on the lodge and restaurants 10/10 Especially having stayed in other hotels this trip I can easily say this is THE BEST

Westport’s centre is 15 minutes’ walk away, and free parking is available. Nice place. We stayed here for one night only. It had everything we needed, was clean, and the staff were friendly.

Each bedroom at Westport Country Lodge has a unique design, toiletries and an Italian-style bathroom. Beautiful property. Good breakfast. Rooms are lovely and the bed was so comfy. Would highly recommend this place, wish we could have stayed longer.
