This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the River Moy, it boasts a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon. Situated in the centre of Westport, the family-run Clooneen House offers free Wi-Fi throughout . It is just 15 minutes’ drive from the Croagh Patrick Mountain and 1 km from Westport Railway Station. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent as it was cooked fresh shortly after you placed your order. The property was next door to the hotel I was attending a wedding in so this was an excellent location for me.

Near Westport’s historic Quay district, Boffin Lodge provides brightly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi and full Irish breakfasts. Boffin Lodge is a great little place a 5 min drive from Westport. Our room had heated floors and the towel rack was heated... a nice touch on a blustery day. The beds were comfy, the staff really helpful and nice, and the included breakfast wonderful. Top notch accommodation for a very reasonable price.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Nice vintage design, different types of restaurants inside of the location. Very nice and large area for afternoon walks. Very nice and friendly staff.
