This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the River Moy, it boasts a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon. Soft 4-pole-bed in a big room! Exceptionally clean when you think of the amount of the heavy textiles used in the room. Great breakfast!

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. The food was excellent especially the evening meals breakfast was brilliant too

Situated in the centre of Westport, the family-run Clooneen House offers free Wi-Fi throughout . It is just 15 minutes’ drive from the Croagh Patrick Mountain and 1 km from Westport Railway Station. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent as it was cooked fresh shortly after you placed your order. The property was next door to the hotel I was attending a wedding in so this was an excellent location for me.

Near Westport’s historic Quay district, Boffin Lodge provides brightly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi and full Irish breakfasts. Boffin Lodge is a great little place a 5 min drive from Westport. Our room had heated floors and the towel rack was heated... a nice touch on a blustery day. The beds were comfy, the staff really helpful and nice, and the included breakfast wonderful. Top notch accommodation for a very reasonable price.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Food was excellent - Steak sandwich, chowder, nachos Room was perfect and very warm Breakfast was really good.

Westport Coast Hotel is situated at the trendy Quay Side overlooking Clew Bay. Wonderful hotel, well equipped, and an absolute lovely roof top Restaurant with perfect view over the bay. Delicious food very rich breakfast and excellent selection of beverages. The staff was always serviceable, very interested and friendly.
