First we were not sure: it was rated two -star and our first hotel which was next to it was rated four and we didn't like it too much. We started with breakfasts: they started there an hour earlier than at our hotel and the service was superb! Than we moved in and were not disappointed. Built in 1883 and located on an oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is a 4-star Victorian mansion set in 7 acres of landscaped gardens with stunning views overlooking the Irish sea. We absolutely loved our stay at Tinakilly Country House. After over 35hrs travelling it was a welcome sight, the lady at check-in was so lovely, the room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable I think we slept for 11 hours The shower was great and breakfast was delicious. They even catered for me being Coeliac In all we highly recommend staying at Tinkakilly if you are in Ireland
