On Rathdrum’s main street offering free parking, the award-winning Stirabout Lane B&B provides spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and home-cooked breakfasts. Everything was Excellent and Daphne the owner was most caring and helpful ! Daphne is a delight and she makes you feel right at home and her cooking,( breakfasts) were super ; she is a “Pro” having run this program for over 24 years and cares about its success !

This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Way bigger hotel than it appears on the site, but very characterful and comfortable. Breakfast required patience but was delicious. The location is ideal for an easy stroll into town. Reception were helpful for storing bags. Lots of free parking.

Built in 1883 and located on an oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is a 4-star Victorian mansion set in 7 acres of landscaped gardens with stunning views overlooking the Irish sea. The house and the gardens are spectacular, the room had the best view on the garden! Best stay ever.

Set in a Designated Area of Natural Beauty, the award winning BrookLodge & Macreddin Village has elegant modern rooms and extensive facilities which include an indoor-to-outdoor pool, Hammam massage... Everything. The rooms were high end, beds were very comfortable. Quiet location, and the facilities are great. Drink service in the common lounge area before dinner was very nice.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the Wicklow Mountain National Park in the village of Laragh, 1 km from the 6th-century monastic city of Glendalough. What a lovely hotel ! The location is perfect for visiting Glendalough park ; even though it;s on a (not overly busy ) highway , our room was quiet and peaceful - we had the windows open to the sound of a stream on the property , very nice ! Also the food was exceptional , Aunty Biddies Guinness stew was the best we've tasted in Ireland , and the service was quick and friendly . Will need a return trip I think !
