The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Check-in was incredibly easy and quick. The receptionists and breakfast staff were very kind and helpful. There is a little library to pick up a book to read during your stay and then leave it behind again before you leave, which was a really nice touch! I got upgraded to a more spacious room than I had booked, which was a lovely surprise. I also had the option of adding breakfast to only my last morning, so that was perfect for me and great that they can be so flexible for those with room only reservations.

The hotel is amazing and beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, our room as huge and so comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. The free breakfast was amazing.

Everything was clean and comfortable. It was a quiet, but also a very convenient location with a bus stop right out front.

Staff were very friendly and kind. Loved the bar area and the fact that you can rent bicycles. We always had fresh water ! Flat and sparkling
