Located in the sea side town of Kinsale, The K Kinsale offers elegant accommodation with limited free onsite parking. The property is just 5 minutes' walk from local restaurants and shops. We had a great stay at K Kinsale for 2 nights. The hosts were wonderful - helping us with top tips for things to do -Barry's walking tour stood out, recommendations for where to eat, where to see trad music, etc. The rooms were lovely and clean - they are are small as described and expected but this wasn't an issue for us. Location was very good, just up the hill from the centre. Would definitely recommend.

The award-winning Killaran House is located within a few minutes’ walk from Killarney city centre, bus and train stations. The home was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The manager/owner was friendly and the welcome felt personal.

Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. We liked the Ash Grove. It was located in a residential area and quiet. We could easily walk to the center too. Breakfast was excellent and hosts were very nice and helpful.

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. Lovely location and lovely host! Very nice room. Good breakfast included.

Just 3 minutes' walk from the beach in Buncrana, The Harbour Inn sits on a hillside overlooking the sandy beaches of Lough Swilly. Breakfast was delicious, if you are not a big breakfast person steer clear of the “Irish breakfast” it is a very large portion.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. The location. The hosts. The small b&b feeling. The breakfast. The relaxed and casual atmosphere. The spacious room. The comfy public areas to relax, to ream, to surf. There is a car charger on site. Conor had some very good suggestions for touring and eating. We confirmed them.
