Overlooking the whitewashed St. Sebastian Chapel, Afonso Guest House is located in the heart of Fontainhas, an old Latin Quarter. Free WiFi access is available. We were so welcomed by Clifton and Jeanette and very happy at this 8 room guest house owned by a very warm family who have lovely staff, especially our waitress at breakfast Kaviri. Rooms are not very big but very comfortable with a firm bed. Exceptionally clean. We only used the ceiling fan but a/c available too. The roof top is a tropical garden and creates such an ambience of peace. Breakfast is served there a La carte with choices of freshly baked bread and home made jam, eggs, fresh fruit etc. This place is just 30 mins from Dabolim airport to Panjim in the middle of what is called the Latin area. It is good to go to prepaid taxi at airport arrivals. Rps1100 Jan 25. Very Close to lots of eating places but we especially enjoyed Casanoni trattoria 5 mins away and Family restaurant around the corner. 10min walk to bus station to get a Bus to Old Goa 30 mins ride away and enjoy the beautiful churches/ cathedral and museum there.

The location is perfect, the pool is lovely, breakfast delicious and the aesthetics beautiful. However, what really makes this place are the owners. They treat everyone as an individual and make time for you. Nothing was too much trouble. They are the most attentive and yet discreet hosts you could wish for.

"Sunny Cow" Village Villa is a self-catering accommodation located within 800 metres from Anjuna Beach and Flea Market. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We had a very good stay. The Wifi was very good to watch movies. Very nce hosts!

We stayed at the Goa Grand Hyatt from December 31, 2024, to January 4, 2025, and had a mostly fantastic experience. Highlights: * New Year's Eve Extravaganza: The complimentary New Year's Eve party was absolutely incredible! While the staff was understandably overwhelmed due to the sheer number of guests, the overall experience was truly luxurious and memorable. * Exceptional Service: * Kartikya, the manager at the Pool Bar, was incredibly helpful when we arrived and all the kitchens were closed. He went above and beyond to find us food options. * Sudha at the Chulha restaurant was an absolute gem. Her kindness and warmth made our dining experience truly special. We enjoyed dining there multiple times thanks to her excellent service and the delicious food. * The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the staff, especially Moupiya and Kapil, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. * Water Sports: We had a wonderful time with Aquasail. Sanjay was a great coordinator, and we appreciated the hassle-free refund for the day we couldn't attend. One Minor Drawback: The beach area was unfortunately rocky and muddy, making it unsuitable for swimming. Overall: Despite the minor beach issue, our stay at the Goa Grand Hyatt was truly memorable. The exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and the unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration made it a highly recommended destination. Tips for Future Guests: * Book in advance for the New Year's Eve party to avoid disappointment. * Consider dining at Chulha Restaurant and enjoy the exceptional service of Sudha.
