We were so welcomed by Clifton and Jeanette and very happy at this 8 room guest house owned by a very warm family who have lovely staff, especially our waitress at breakfast Kaviri. Rooms are not very big but very comfortable with a firm bed. Exceptionally clean. We only used the ceiling fan but a/c available too. The roof top is a tropical garden and creates such an ambience of peace. Breakfast is served there a La carte with choices of freshly baked bread and home made jam, eggs, fresh fruit etc. This place is just 30 mins from Dabolim airport to Panjim in the middle of what is called the Latin area. It is good to go to prepaid taxi at airport arrivals. Rps1100 Jan 25. Very Close to lots of eating places but we especially enjoyed Casanoni trattoria 5 mins away and Family restaurant around the corner. 10min walk to bus station to get a Bus to Old Goa 30 mins ride away and enjoy the beautiful churches/ cathedral and museum there.

Just 200 metres from Candolim Beach, Resort Coqueiral offers well-decorated rooms with a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool or sea. Calangute Beach is just 3 km away. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Everything about Resort Coquerial is excellent. Alex runs a tight ship and he and all the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. We had a room overlooking the beach area. It's a short walk to the beach and town. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was nice for a dip. Highly recommended if you are visiting Candolim.

Hotel was beautifully designed - very individual. Very tranquil place and the swimming pool was super long and ideal for a morning lap swim. The beach was lovely and really quiet - we went at the end of the main season. Nice beach bars just a short walk away plus the hotel's 2nd restaurant was right by the beach too. Food and drink prices were relatively high in the restaurants - a small glass of wine was around Euro 13 including taxes. The breakfast was amazing with both Indian and Continental dishes. This would be my hotel of choice when I'm in South Goa again.
