Overlooking the whitewashed St. Sebastian Chapel, Afonso Guest House is located in the heart of Fontainhas, an old Latin Quarter. Free WiFi access is available. We were so welcomed by Clifton and Jeanette and very happy at this 8 room guest house owned by a very warm family who have lovely staff, especially our waitress at breakfast Kaviri. Rooms are not very big but very comfortable with a firm bed. Exceptionally clean. We only used the ceiling fan but a/c available too. The roof top is a tropical garden and creates such an ambience of peace. Breakfast is served there a La carte with choices of freshly baked bread and home made jam, eggs, fresh fruit etc. This place is just 30 mins from Dabolim airport to Panjim in the middle of what is called the Latin area. It is good to go to prepaid taxi at airport arrivals. Rps1100 Jan 25. Very Close to lots of eating places but we especially enjoyed Casanoni trattoria 5 mins away and Family restaurant around the corner. 10min walk to bus station to get a Bus to Old Goa 30 mins ride away and enjoy the beautiful churches/ cathedral and museum there.

Located just 250 metres from the Arabian Sea in the village of Candolim, Casa Da Praia features an outdoor swimming pool. All rooms overlook the pool. Free WiFi access is available. This hotel property is flourishing with beautiful greenery, and well maintained. A small property that cares about their guests, and offers great advice based on your needs. We took the large room on the third floor and peeked in others, all decorated with a local flair. We loved it. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable and allow for rest after a long journey and a very early arrival. The breakfast allowed for plenty of choice and the staff were amazing and very attentive during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and all had a well equipped gym. It was hard to believe that when you stepped out of the oasis that within one minute you were on the Main Street and within five minutes at a beautiful beach. A perfect location! we highly recommend this place, but you will need to book early! It also is super close to the bus stop and owners/staff extremely helpful with transportation. The owners are wonderful hosts who clearly care about their guests and do their best to make your stay in Goa memorable.

Just 200 metres from Candolim Beach, Resort Coqueiral offers well-decorated rooms with a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool or sea. Calangute Beach is just 3 km away. On arrival we were met by the staff which was a nice touch. Alex the manager wasn’t there but came and greeted us later at the pool. The room was great, clean and a very comfortable bed. Anything that we needed wasn’t a problem. The other thing that we liked was that there was a gate that gave you access straight down to the beach. Breakfast was plenty and you had a choice of items that you could have freshly cooked to order. Ali was always there to help. It was also a nice quiet location I would recommend a stay if you visit Candolim

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Beira Mar Beach Resort is located at a 5-minute walk from Benaulim Beach. It operates a 24-hour front desk and features a well-manicured garden. Loved everything. Immaculate maintained gardens. Staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms kept clean every day. Literally a 2 minute walk to the beach.
