Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Absolutely everything. The location is perfect, the hotel itself (inside and outside) is beautiful but most of all, the staff were on another level. It’s a very busy hotel with lots of celebrities (cricketers) and I was still treated like I was the only one in the whole hotel. Wonderful stay

Excellent hotel ! Very professional staff. The room is really large, the bed very confortable. The room and the hotel in general is very neat. They organised a cab for me when I arrived at the train station in Aurangabad, which is really nice. Also the restaurant and the bar on premisse offer excellent food and the service is very professional. Breakfast is great, and the staff packed a small breakfast-to-go for me as I wanted to leave early to visit Ellora on my first day there. For Ajanta, the staff organised a cab for me, everything went very smoothly.

Situated just 500 metres away from the famous and bustling Crawford Market and 3.2 km away from Gateway of India, Elphinstone Hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and modern air-conditioned rooms. The room, was very clean and the hotel was within a 30 min walk of major tourist sites. What made the hotel though was the staff. Super friendly and nothing was too much to help you out. The staff arranged for currency exchange and provided advice on restaurants and tourist attractions. Breakfast was included and very tasty also, with a choice of Indian or Eggs. Loved our stay.
