Originally built to serve as the mayor’s residence, this 5-star heritage property is surrounded by a garden and is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach. The staff were outstanding and responsive. They put service front and centre. Call out to Padmini the housekeeper who went above and beyond to make our stay better. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the sights in French quarter. The manager Kavitha is fab! The courtyard restaurant, greenery and I have to mention my favourite cocktail, the green mango margarita!

This is my second time coming here. I really liked it. Rooms are very nice and clean. I really like that it is very close to everywhere from here. The railway station, beach, shops are all nearby. What more could you want? Likewise, whenever we ask for anything, they immediately do what we need. The staff is very respectful and kind. Especially since I asked for a room early in the morning. Similarly, they had my room ready for me at the time I asked. It is very happy. I didn't have to wait that long at the reception either. The reservation was done easily and I got the room immediately. Thanks for the staff and team ❤️. I requested that I have the same room as the last time I went, as I had requested. I was very happy that they prepared the same room for me... Once again thank u Team.

The Promenade is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach. It offers an outdoor pool, 3 dining options and free Wi-Fi access is provided for free in the entire hotel. We booked this last minute as our original hotel in Pondicherry didn't meet our expectations. While the Promenade cost a little more, the difference in quality was astounding. A seafront position, the hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff were amazing and so attentive. Breakfast provided plenty of choice and the food was delicious.
