Hotel Ratan Vilas is a family-managed boutique heritage property. It offers 4-star amenities. The food was great, the rooms were big and beautifully decorated. The staff was super helpful and helped with anything. We got a great massage, the pool was nice. The building was nice with beautiful architecture. We also got a brief explanation of the history of the property when we arrived. And there was a turtle 🐢

Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The pool and restaurant/bar were outstanding, as were the staff. Can't say enough about the beautiful decor--the antique photos and the artworks. We took an early morning walking tour of some of the key markets and temples which was arranged by the hotel and it was epic--a great way to be introduced to Jaipur and a lifetime memory for sure!

Udaipur Airport is located 24 km away. The property is a very nice building close to all the highlights of the city. It has a beautiful rooftop terrace with views of the palaces and the lakes, where you can also watch the sunset.

Our room had a beautiful view of the fort, and the roof top restaurants and bars were terrific. The hotel organized a guide for us, and we had a wonderful tour of the city.

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Everybody that comes to Udaipur should book this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and really nice. They helped us hire a Tuk Tuk for the entire time we were there and it was just so easy to contact the driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere and know that we were getting a fair price. The air conditioning unit in the room was very powerful and made it very comfortable to sleep in considering we were there in peak summer. Bedrooms were incredibly beautiful, authentic and traditional feel. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was right in the center of the old city with a view of the lake as well as being close to the city Palace. Is there anything I didn’t like?
