Built in 1920, this architectural marvel, Ratan Vilas, Jodhpur offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant that serves Indian and continental specialities. Our most favourite property during our 3 week holiday and first visit to India. Visited a few cities and stayed at 2 super expensive luxury hotels, this property in Jodhpur exceeded our expectations and we’re still thinking about our stay here. It just evoked feelings of bygone times, in a most relaxed, gentle beautiful garden setting giving refuge to outside vibrant India. Huge rooms, pool and service with heart and soul. Beautiful elegant restaurant for morning breakfast, and sitting in the garden under the stars for dinner with outdoor fire pits and live musician was just romance. Beautiful food w local menu options. Could not fault, love to return!

Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. We were upgraded from a regular room to a suite without asking. The room was so spacious and elegant, we felt like true Rajas. If you want to experience the romance of old Jaipur while still basking in luxury and modern comfort, this is the place to be. It is a true oasis of tranquility in the middle of the old city. The heritage tour is also a must do, it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

A wonderful hotel with a magnificent view of the fort, beautiful, comfortable, and spacious rooms. A perfect swimming pool, massages, a great rooftop restaurant, and personalized service from the entire staff — from the hotel owners to the waiters. I enjoyed every moment.

Khatu Haveli is a heritage property built in the 19th century has 3 courtyards and magnificent arches and terraces. It is a beautiful place, very comfortable rooms. The staff is very nice and attentive, you feel like home. Even though is very centric, it is quiet inside.

This charming hostel is situated in the Old City and overlooks the famous Pichola Lake. Hostel Mantra features a traditional Rajasthan Haveli-style décor and houses a rooftop terrace and a restaurant.... The beds were very comfortable with curtains, lights and small shelves in each bed. Staff were very friendly! The sunrise motorbike tour was excellent and the sunset from the rooftop was beautiful! Would stay again :) also super central location on the water!

From the welcoming fresh flowers necklace to the scent in the lobby, to the complimentary chai and cake, to the amazingly kind and helpful staff, to the extreme comfort of the bed (the best I’ve had in India so far), to the brilliant location at the foot of the fort, to the rooftop restaurant with unbeatable view over the fort, great food and all the various areas where you can read, rest, contemplate before you head out to the business of the streets of Jaisalmer. I’m not sure I ever want to leave!!

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in India so far. Incredible staff, everything was perfect. I arrived very sick and they really helped look after me.

We had great time staying at Hotel Fifu, rooms are really very beautiful and comfortable. Everything was perfect, their rooftop restaurant is amazing. Food was yummy and staff were very courteous. Mr. Aniruddh is very helpful and kind, he took very good care of us. Overall it was a great stay, I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.
