We loved this place! We were passing through on our way to the Gargano and we wished we could have stayed longer. We love great design and this b&b was clean and gorgeously decorated. Annamaria was on staff and she showed us another room that was even more beautiful, and we hope to stay in that one someday. Breakfast room was stunning and the breakfast was delicious!

Mirella and her beautiful energy were “bellisimo!” Cute, cute, cute, tutti! The weather was fresh and cool. Be sure to catch a tour of the Torre. Visit Arianna’s gift shop full of her art. But the breakfast in Mirella’s kitchen with the gorgeous window views were spectacular. This is the the best breakfast of our whole trip in Italy.

Homemade olive oil and locally made bread for breakfast, plus great recommendations for sourcing local food and wine rounded out our first small-town experience in Italy :).

A few steps from the main square in Sulmona, B&B Il Marchese del Grillo offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Housed in an 18th-century building, it features a panoramic terrace. Fantastic location, great host who was very responsive and provides a delicious breakfast, lovely rooftop terrace.

Adriano is a great host. The accommodation is better than in the photos, it is stunning. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Loved it here, so peaceful.

The modern Victoria Hotel is set in the heart of Pescara, next to Piazza della Rinascita, and offers a small wellness centre, shared fitness centre and free parking. The staff, the gym and the location. They park your car for free as well.

Sextantio Albergo Diffuso offers unique accommodation in the fortified medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, deep in the Abruzzo hillside, at 1250 metres a.s.l. Loved the historic element of this property!! Such a unique experience to stay in a medieval town stopped in time. They welcomed us with luggage assistance and a nice cup of mulled wine. We went for our honeymoon, so they gifted us a bottle of wine and saffron liquor.

The historic district is peaceful to walk around. The room had every amenity needed and was very cozy. My stay was the perfect getaway and I look forward to visiting again!
