The garden is amazing, the best view on the temples, lots of history, amazing trees...very modern and elegant rooms, facilities like the jacuzzi in the garden left us speechless, staff became family in 2min, breakfast was very good and nice...ah it had parking and at least one good restaurant at walking distance!!

Great place for a family trip with a garden where our kids played and lots of animals within the hotel area - like even several peacocks ! Also it's situated with an incredible view of valley of temples. The breakfast is yummy and everything is home made. I would suggest improving the swimming pool and pool area a little and propose dinner at the hotel as well. If you would like to go to a restaurant the closest nice restaurants are 20 minutes walking distance. Overall a great experience !

Set in the historical centre of Agrigento, La Nuova Girgenti offers modern rooms and apartments with a balcony and air conditioning. WiFi is free in shared areas. Very central and pleasant accommodation. Easy and fast check-in. The room and bathroom were super big, a simple but very nice decoration. The breakfast is excellent, a day before they give you a sheet with breakfast options so you can choose what you want to eat!.... We felt very comfortable.

If you’re in Agrigento book here if you can. Damiano is the best host ever with ideas, kindness and sometimes will drive you to where you need to go. The Scala Dei Turchi is a must, and so is the Valley of Temples, he drove me there. Opera restaurant is walking distance. But I loved my stay in this great southern Sicily town.

Featuring a garden with a free outdoor pool, Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa is 2 km from the UNESCO-protected Valley of the Temples. This was a great base for touring around the Agrigento area. The main appeal for us was the private pool each room had. In summer, after a whole day off walking in the heat, relaxing in a pool with a bottle of wine and some snacks was the best. If it was winter, this would need less appealing. The room otherwise was very compact but clean and modernly appointed. Bed comfortable for us. The aircon is a bit noisy at night. We didn't have breakfast, instead we headed to local towns for coffee and cornetto. Are at the restaurant once. It was very good. But it's all about those private pools!
