 Matera is a unique place in Italy and the hotel completely reflects this fact. It is fabulous and very unique place to stay. The hotel is in the middle of the historical site. The bed was probably the best I ever slept on in any hotel. The owner is a great person who spent a lot of energy time and money to create a fabulous place

This hotel is much nicer than the photos the receptionist where very friendly and help us to go around matera and he tell us how to reach matera by walk just 5 mins from the hotel to reach Matera secure parking....good breakfast nice room very clean and we had a good night sleep

This hotel is wonderful. The staff are really lovely (they also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant which uses only local produce, ask them, it was fab!) and the location is perfect; an easy walk to everything. It's so cute inside as well, just like the photos they published on here. Breakfast was great as well, and when we needed to leave before breakfast on the final morning, they packed one up for us the night before. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It was perfect.
