The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 200 metres from Aragonese Castle. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a lift and luggage storage for guests. Amazing apartment, sparkling clean, great view and close to anything you want. Super helpful host, and a biiiig bonus to the garage. It can be quite challenging to find a parking spot.

Perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful old town of Tropea, this accommodation was our most favourite during out 6 week tour of Italy. We had two rooms and both were super clean, spacious and well appointed. The building itself is an old palace situated on a small piazza off the main drag. The children loved the spa and with a stunning beach (one of the best in Italy) only a short walk away, we were spoilt for choice. The breakfast on the roof top terrace has a stunning view and was a highlight. Saverio was a perfect host and provided us with recommendations on where to go and which travel groups to sight-see with. We were very happy with all of his recommendations. We loved Residenza il Barone and can't wait to get back.

Located in a quiet area 3 km from the city centre, this unique stone building is 10 minutes' drive from Lido Sant'Angelo beach. Rooms offer views of the garden or Ionian Sea. WiFi and parking are all free. Fantastic place! We would love to stay for a longer time to enjoy this perfection!

All air-conditioned, rooms here have modern facilities such as satellite TV, but have also retained a number of their original features and design. We loved Villino Eleonora! The rooms were so comfortable and the gardens were beautiful! We loved the view out over the sea. This really felt like the perfect B&B. It's close to Tropea, but far enough from the hustle and bustle that it was very peaceful. Breakfast in the garden in the morning was stunning and delicious. Alessandro was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and sites. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

It is set 1.4 km from Reggio Calabria Lido and offers a lift. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The host, Francesco, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Told us all we needed to know about the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were spacious and bright.

The sandy beach is 450 metres away, reachable via a staircase. Perfect accommodation in this beautiful town. Not far from the historical center, in a quiet street. The hotel and all the rooms are clean, cozy, excellent breakfast in a pleasant garden setting. Everything is great. But the best thing was the staff's attitude - a very helpful receptionist, she met all my requests - she even arranged to extend my stay by two nights.

Rooms at Portercole B&B feature modern furnishings and paintings by a local artist. Each includes an electric kettle, minibar and a private bathroom with hairdryer, toiletries, and slippers. The owners were very kind and hospitable. Great location! Lovely room and breakfast!

Just 200 metres from the beach, the 4-star Piccolo Grand Hotel is located in Pizzo Calabro. It offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony with town or sea views.

Rooms at Grand Hotel are colourful and decorated with wooden floors. Each one is air conditioned and features an LCD TV. This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.
