Perfectly located in the heart of the beautiful old town of Tropea, this accommodation was our most favourite during out 6 week tour of Italy. We had two rooms and both were super clean, spacious and well appointed. The building itself is an old palace situated on a small piazza off the main drag. The children loved the spa and with a stunning beach (one of the best in Italy) only a short walk away, we were spoilt for choice. The breakfast on the roof top terrace has a stunning view and was a highlight. Saverio was a perfect host and provided us with recommendations on where to go and which travel groups to sight-see with. We were very happy with all of his recommendations. We loved Residenza il Barone and can't wait to get back.

Located in a quiet area 3 km from the city centre, this unique stone building is 10 minutes' drive from Lido Sant'Angelo beach. Rooms offer views of the garden or Ionian Sea. Everything is wonderful. A place with its history and heritage of authenticity

The host, Francesco, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Told us all we needed to know about the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were spacious and bright.

A Liberty-style building in the centre of Tropea, a 2-minute walk from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Villa Vittoria Tropea B&B offers modern rooms, a garden, and free Wi-Fi. The b & b provided a true home-like experience. The receptionist were all so kind, the room was was a good size & the bed was comfortable, the AC in the room was well needed due to the heat and worked very well and the breakfast provided was incredible (scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, breakfast frittata, fruit, muffins, cold meats and cheese and of course 2 coffee machines.)

Set in the historic centre of Tropea and a 5-minute walk from the beach, this charming B&B offers bright, air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a LED satellite TV. Some rooms boast a balcony. I don’t usually write many reviews but this B&B definitely deserves one. Everything was perfect and I felt like home. The hospitality was one of the best I ever had. I will come back next time!

Just 200 metres from the beach, the 4-star Piccolo Grand Hotel is located in Pizzo Calabro. It offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony with town or sea views. Piccolo Grand Hotel is one of my favorite hotels anywhere I have traveled. It's exceptionally well run and beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. I hope to stay again some day.
