Located in the pedestrian centre of Tropea, Donnaciccina Accomodation offers country-style rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and a balcony. Umberto, was such a lovely host and a really genuine person, he went out of his way to help organise our stay in every way. The breakfast was excellent and fresh squeezed orange juice from his Garden, and he catered for any food allergies. He really made our stay in Tropea special and we will definitely be back again and have already recommended this accommodation to our friends Emer and Edwin Ireland.

Our family of 3 couples stayed with Lorenzo for 3 nights. Every room was styled fabulously quirky and retro. Interesting features everywhere. Lorenzo would have to be the friendliest and most helpful host we’ve ever experienced. He gave us tips for good restaurants and a nice beach to visit by train. The bathrooms were modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable.

Located in a quiet area 3 km from the city centre, this unique stone building is 10 minutes' drive from Lido Sant'Angelo beach. Rooms offer views of the garden or Ionian Sea. The breakfast was wonderful, service was outstanding. The breakfast room was large and well appointed.

Room with private terrace was perfect. Lovely private breakfasts every morning. The place to stay if you want true hospitality. Parghelia is quiet with nice choice of bars / Restaurants Vibrant Gorgeous Tropea a short drive away. Relax on the unbelievable beaches or enjoy the many activities on offer. The host, Francesco, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Told us all we needed to know about the places we wanted to visit. The rooms were spacious and bright.

A Liberty-style building in the centre of Tropea, a 2-minute walk from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Villa Vittoria Tropea B&B offers modern rooms, a garden, and free Wi-Fi. It was very pleasant. I was traveling solo and had the perfect room facing the garden. I loved the historical exterior and the modern interior.

Set in the historic centre of Tropea and a 5-minute walk from the beach, this charming B&B offers bright, air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a LED satellite TV. Some rooms boast a balcony. Biagio and Sharon are excellent hosts, friendly and attentive to the guests needs. The room was spotless clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh fruit, cheese, yogurt and lots of homemade pastries. They also provided a car park that is a bonus in the historic centre of the town.

Just 200 metres from the beach, the 4-star Piccolo Grand Hotel is located in Pizzo Calabro. It offers elegant rooms with free WiFi and a balcony with town or sea views. This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.
