Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the Amalfi Coast, in the pleasant village of Furore, near the main resorts but away from noisy crowds. The welcome was very warm and accommodating, we arrived earlier than planned so we had lunch on the terrace which was delicious! The food is typical of the region and extremely well executed by a great chef. If you want to experience the Divine Coast this is the ace to stay. Hotel Plaza is set in the heart of Salerno, directly opposite the railway station, and close to the bus terminal and the pretty seafront promenade. A buffet breakfast is provided daily.

Featuring free WiFi, rooms here also come with satellite TV and air conditioning. Stayed for three nights in mid-September with my mother. It is located in a perfect place, just in front of the main station. We never had sleepless nights as it was quiet even during the weekend. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away which was very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast, especially the cappuccini served from the kitchen (instead of coffee machines). The room was spacious and the shower was okay, and the beds were made and towels replaced every day. They allowed us to leave our luggage after checkout which was great as we took an afternoon train. We traveled to other destinations such as Vietri sul Mare by train and visited the Salerno duomo by taxi (15 euros). It was our third time in the area and Salerno was a perfect place to stay. The view And all ,good food at the restaurant for dinner..the owner and staff are all nice..they meet our needs esp.the kettle in the room because we have health issues and we need hot water at night..also no problem for transportation they have a shuttle..

Set in a 16th-century building, Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments is in Naples’ historical centre, 300 metres from Dante Metro. With free WiFi, the uniquely decorated rooms combine modern design and artistic elements. Breakfast was included in the room price and there was a great variety offered. Food was excellent. Short walk from the local train station, but a few stops from Naples Central. Close to many restaurants. Room was very clean. Maybe a little small for twin beds but comfortable.
