Just 250 metres from Taormina cathedral, La Malandrina - Apartments & Suites is a 15-minute walk from the Greek Amphitheatre. It offers self-catering accommodation featuring free WiFi. We stayed at La Malandrina for a few nights in February and truly enjoyed our time at the clean and beautifully decorated Green Palm apartment. Every detail of the space felt intentional, making the apartment feel cozy and welcoming. Despite arriving later in the evening, the La Malandrina Team kindly greeted us in person, which was a lovely and appreciated gesture. The apartment is just a short walk from Corso Umberto, Taormina’s main street, and being close to the Decò supermarket with its fresh produce and essentials made our stay all the more convenient. Due to the mountainous landscape, there are quite a few stairs in the city — including near the apartment — so it’s good to keep that in mind. Athena Charming Rooms is located in Taormina, 2 km from the closest beach and a 35-minute drive from the Etna national park. It has a shared kitchen. We booked this place just because it was close to the bus terminal and had a good price, but it ended up being so much more than that. The warm welcome and the amazing homemade breakfast were honestly the best. The host—a lovely mom and her son—were super kind, probably the friendliest I’ve ever met. They even sent me a list of great local restaurants on WhatsApp that were way better (and cheaper) than the fancy touristy ones. They also gave me a heads-up about a free entry day for the ancient theatre, which normally costs €14—thanks to that, I got to enjoy Taormina without spending too much. Oh, and both the room and the bathroom had windows, so it was easy to keep the place fresh and airy.

Villa is owned by a beautiful family. Giovanna is the best host you can ever imagine! We’ve been surrounded by her careful attention since the first minute of our stay. I would like to thank her very much and we will definitely come back! Last but not least, the view from the room was spectacular!

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa, Palazzo Rosso is located in a refurbished 19th-century building in Riposto. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. The sea is a 10-minute walk away. Love the tranquility of Palazzo Rosso, the hospitality of Davide and hos family and staff, and the proximity to the sea, Catania, Etna and Taormina. Highly recommendable for experienced traveller, looking for tranquility, comfort and friendliness. Don't miss to have dinner there!!!

B&B Sottocoperta offers rooms a 12-minute drive from Taormina city centre. The property has free Wi-Fi access throughout. Featuring air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, rooms have a marine style. Our host Alessandra was so lovely and friendly. She cooked us breakfast each morning. The non-human hosts were so cute (2 dogs and 2 cats) and added a lot of character to the place. The views were also fantastic from the B&B. We liked that we could walk to the nearby town to grab a bite or sit at the beach as well.

Ottomood B&B and Apartments is a 10-minute walk from Tremestieri Etneo. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a hydromassage shower, a free outdoor pool, and a garden with olive trees and a sun... Beautiful property, with very attentive hosts. Room and breakfast was excellent. Free parking was an added bonus.

Situated in a raised position overlooking the beautiful Mazzarò Bay and Taormina Beach the family-run Villa Arianna is 700 metres from Isola Bella island. It offers free Wi-Fi and elegant rooms. Incredible stay that you should book if it's lucky enough to be available during your dates, seriously! I travel a lot but this is actually the very first review I've taken the time to write because the hospitality of Salvo and Maria Pia is mind-blowing and the property, room, and view is incredible. You're in the best location that's within steps of the convenience store, taxi rank, cable car, and steps to Mazzaro beach, whilst also being only a few minutes walk to Isla Bella beach. The room stunning, shower is high pressure, bed is super comfortable and everything is SO clean. Each day we were left different snacks or gifts as a surprise after each clean and Salvo even kindly brought us too and from the train station on our arrival and on our departure day which was very helpful for us. Salvo, Maria Pia went above and beyond and we will always remember this trip thank you!
