The location is near the ferry and 10 minutes to the train station Varenna Esino. Decent breakfast. They have also a nice bar where you have drink. We will be back. The units provide WiFi access and a flat-screen TV, some also offer lake views. The private bathroom comes with a shower and free toiletries. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a lot of light and although we were right on the road, it was very quiet. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, and the entire premises is very cozy and tastefully decorated. We were in Lenno for work so wifi was important and worked perfectly. They were very accommodating for the extra time we needed to hang around before work, too.

Alfina’s apartment was a very special place and a peaceful haven just minutes walk from the main busy area of Varenna. It was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious with everything needed to make our stay extra special. Alfina provided so many lovely extras eg loads of delicious foods, snacks, fruit, sweets and wine. She went out of her way to assist us in every way eg helping planning our days and offering to drive us to the train station with our luggage. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
