Room was clean and well maintained, with beautiful lake view. Breakfast was very tasty. I loved it. Location is good, right in front of the ferry terminal, and only 5 to 6 minutes walk from the Varenna-Esino train station. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Mamma Ciccia offers room in several locations in Mandello del Lario's centre, on Lake Como. It features 2 restaurants and a bar. Rooms here offer free Wi-Fi and overlook an internal courtyard. Perhaps the most surprising hotel of our trip. In a good way! Super helpful staff, advised, told where and what to see and to get. The room we got was also super, extremely cozy and especially comfortable beds! I just had absolutely no comments, when I had questions, everything was solved immediately. Breakfast was also good. In short, we will definitely come back again with the whole family, and for others who are looking to feel the true spirit of Italy and enjoy Lake Como in peace, this is a perfect place! p.s. Located in Bellagio’s city centre and boasting lovely views over Lake Como, Hotel Bellagio offers free access to its gym. It also provides free WiFi in public areas. I had a fall and all the staff tended to me giving me ice and stuff to clean my wounds. They let us leave our luggage till the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious.

A 2-minute walk from Lake Como shores, Balbianino is located in Lenno’s historic centre, 500 metres from the ferry terminal. The location is very good. The view was wonderful.
