Relais Casali della Cisterna is set in two 19th-century building surrounded by a private park overlooking Lake Maggiore. Excellent in every way. Quiet location but close to Stresa. Stunning views. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Excellent homemade food and very warm welcome. A very pleasant stay. We could not fault it. We will be back!

Beautiful property and felt so welcome as we had to do a late check in after a day of traveling. Loved our room and hosts. Breakfast was fantastic.

Hotel Royal is a family-run hotel located in a quiet area near Lake Maggiore, offering views of Borromeo Bay and the Alps. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. A really lovely hotel with a luxurious vibe from the turn of the century - Italian elegance! The superior room was HUGE with a beautiful lakeview terrace, everything was spotlessly clean and the service very welcoming. Breakfast is great with plenty of choices.

The intimate and modern Hotel Ancora is found on the shore of Lake Maggiore. Here you can experience an excellent, personalised service in a luxury, boutique hotel. It was a beautiful hotel, located right at the lake. The rooms were very clean, spacious and had all amenities we needed. We also booked a lake view hotel, which we highly recommend. The view was breathtaking. The breakfast was tasty, there was a variety of foods to choose from, from baked goods to fresh fruit and vegetables, from sweet to savory. The room service was exceptional, the staff friendly and professional and the hotel felt safe and welcoming. It was rainy during our stay, so we spent more time in the hotel than planned, and were happy to have been in the Hotel Ancora, as it made those rainy days extra cozy and comfortable.

Set on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Eden is a family-run hotel in central Baveno, offering panoramic views. The hotel also features a restaurant, a bar and a mountain-view sun terrace. Breakfast was great, served on the terrace right next to the lake. The room had a wonderful view of the lake. The boat station is 2 minutes away, from where boats depart for the beautiful islands. We loved it. Delicious food, friendly staff, beautiful scenery.
