Relais Casali della Cisterna is set in two 19th-century building surrounded by a private park overlooking Lake Maggiore. Excellent in every way. Quiet location but close to Stresa. Stunning views. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Excellent homemade food and very warm welcome. A very pleasant stay. We could not fault it. We will be back!

Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was good—all you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property and felt so welcome as we had to do a late check in after a day of traveling. Loved our room and hosts. Breakfast was fantastic.

Set right on the lakeside, Hotel Bel Sit offers a private beach and a breakfast room with terrace, with panoramic views across Lake Maggiore and a small pool. Milan Malpensa Airport is 21 km away. So nice to wake up with the peaceful lake view. Breakfast gives the same positive feeling.

Hotel Della Torre is a well-maintained, family-run hotel set just out of Stresa town centre and only 150 metres from Lake Maggiore. Enjoy pretty lake views from the gardens. Great location about 20 mins stroll along the lakeside into town. Loved the pool and poolside bar. Lovely staff, very helpful, no request was too much. Will definitely come back, and will recommend it to friends.
