The room was exactly as advertised and the food at the restaurant was honestly the highlight of our trip. Gianpaolo was an amazing host, very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The location was also excellent, a short walk from the train station where we were able to take the train to Rome.

The place was amazing, starting from the entrance in the garden to the room, the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Hotel Castel Vecchio has a stunning position directly above Lake Albano, just a 5-minute walk from the historical centre of Castel Gandolfo, and 300 metres from Villa Barberini. The view was spectacular. However, our room had sloping ceilings and my tall husband kept bumping his head. We booked rather last minute so this may have been all that was available.
