This 5-star boutique hotel is located in Milan's historic centre, an 8-minute walk from Piazza San Babila and the fashion area of Via Montenapoleone. The hotel is fabulous..the staff were so friendly..and we flew ninto Linate..the Metro is a couple of stops and takes you right outside the door...the easiest transfer ever. The hotel is in a delightful neighbourhood close to all tourist attractions yet not overrun by tourists. It's perfect.

Only 5 minutes' walk from Piazza Vittoria, La Filanda B&B is in Brescia's historic centre. It offers elegant rooms with antique furniture, wood-beamed ceilings and free Wi-Fi. The overall impression was just right: warm and friendly support without too much attention. Owner contacted via WhatsUp and this was very good. Among other things I enjoyed elevator. Room was clean and well maintained, with beautiful lake view. Breakfast was very tasty. I loved it. Location is good, right in front of the ferry terminal, and only 5 to 6 minutes walk from the Varenna-Esino train station. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Mamma Ciccia offers room in several locations in Mandello del Lario's centre, on Lake Como. It features 2 restaurants and a bar. Rooms here offer free Wi-Fi and overlook an internal courtyard. Perhaps the most surprising hotel of our trip. In a good way! Super helpful staff, advised, told where and what to see and to get. The room we got was also super, extremely cozy and especially comfortable beds! I just had absolutely no comments, when I had questions, everything was solved immediately. Breakfast was also good. In short, we will definitely come back again with the whole family, and for others who are looking to feel the true spirit of Italy and enjoy Lake Como in peace, this is a perfect place! p.s.
