Relais Farinati - Adults Only is set in an old monastery in the countryside of Lucca. It features a little chapel and free WiFi. After some days in Lucca city we were excited to go up in the hills to Relais Farinati. Two sisters run the place with their 3 dogs and cat. It’s a 25 min drive from Lucca on a narrow road the last bit but it’s so worth it! Amazing view that never ceases to impress. After some coffee with cookies for breakfast in the city we were so glad to see a real breakfast with eggs, bread (even glutenfree), yoghurt, fruits and so on. The dinner was really nice with new menu every day, and they always found options for miss glutenfree. They make everything themselves and have local wine. Nice rooms with a view, fridge, AC etc. the pool was great, the house is stunning, nice walks uphill/downhill, and you can visit vineyards just down the road. We loved it here and will return for sure. Thanks to the sisters, the lovely dogs and cat <3

O Al Porto Di Lucca B&B é uma histórica casa toscana situada no seu amplo jardim, apenas a 200 metros da Estação Ferroviária de Lucca. O acesso Wi-Fi e o aluguer de bicicletas são gratuitos. Location is excellent, just outside of a city gate. Breakfast was ample and made fresh. parking was adequate; they have three spaces. The view outside is of neat landscaping with fruit trees. It was quiet. We wanted to sleep with the window open but with no screens, we were concerned about mosquitoes.

The location is excellent, with Lucca’s city center just a few minutes away. Having parking available was a great bonus, and compared to other accommodations, we were able to check in very early, which made things much more convenient. The house’s decoration is truly sensational and unique, with pleasant fragrances welcoming you everywhere. From the very first moment, communication with Martina was effortless, and she provided us with fantastic suggestions for things to do. Our room was clean, very spacious, and exceptionally well equipped. After all the walking, the huge bathtub was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Breakfast was wonderfully abundant and satisfying. Although we accidentally paid the tourist tax twice, the staff informed us immediately and refunded the amount on the same day, demonstrating very professional handling. If we ever have the chance to visit Lucca again, we will definitely choose this accommodation once more.
