The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel. One of our two favorite hotels in Sardinia, it is 1/2 block from the ferry landing in the heart of Maddalena. The staff are helpful, friendly, warm, and very competent in addressing a wide range of requests Highly recommended

Set in the centre of Sorso, Piazza San Pantaleo offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It features a sun terrace, and is 4 km from the beach. Wow, Piazza San Pantaleo guest house is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We booked the large "apartment" room, and we were so happy with the space. The room itself was amazing, but equally amazing was Giovanni's hospitality. He is a wonderful and warm host who gave us many recommendations and whose company we enjoyed during the morning breakfast hour. The house is incredibly well-designed with a beautiful collection of vintage and antique furniture and art. There is a sense of eclecticism but also understated elegance. The town is relaxing and very walkable. The views of San Pantaleo church from the balcony of the house were stunning. Giovanni's home is the kind of place were would hope to revisit in the future.

Set in its furnished garden featuring flowers and a free swimming pool, L'Agnata di De André Boutique Hotel is 11 km from Tempio Pausania. Beautiful hotel in a very peaceful location. Furthermore the staff is very helpful and nice.

Gorgeous old building with large rooms in a perfect location. Walking distance to the main streets in La Maddalena and a short drive to all the main beaches on the island + Caprera. This was a fantastic stay. There's a great grocery store next door which helps prepare for days at the beach/hikes.

Bajaloglia Resort is set on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Castelsardo, Doria Castle, and the sea. Its large garden features a swimming pool and sunbathing area. The resort was stunning. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely. The restaurant was excellent
