(Easy to navigate to, walking distance to both the temples and the museum, plus restaurants just around the corner.)

Set just 200 metres from Catania Harbour, B&B Suite Cutelli offers spacious rooms with a balcony and free WiFi throughout. A shared kitchen is available on site. B&B Cutelli is perfectly located. Overlooking a small park, it is an easy walk to the historic centre of Catania. We arrived in the evening and were given self check in instructions which were easy to follow. The breakfast offered at 5 euros per person is great value and has lots of options and even american coffee!! Simona was a delight and very helpful with lots of information about Catania. She speaks excellent English. Also there was parking available on the streets near the B&B for a couple of euros a night. But beware driving in Catania is not for the faint hearted!

With a garden, Habitat is located in the centre of Catania. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Each room here will provide you with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Designer hotel in (what I think was) a former industrial space. Not everything is practical, but certainly is beautiful. Location is good as well. Recommended.

San Giorgio Palace is a boutique hotel in Ragusa Ibla, 15 km from Modica. It offers panoramic views of Santa Domenica Valley and rooms with free Wi-Fi. A sweet breakfast buffet is provided daily. The hotel was right in the middle of everything you want to see in Ragusa Ibla! The hotel is a combination of a palace and a convent that were seamlessly connected and renovated into a beautiful hotel. The room was modern and very clean, and the breakfast that was served in an upper floor had an amazing view and the ability to enjoy breakfast outdoors if you would like. There were so many Delicious choices, including eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, fruit, juices, and different types of coffees made when you ask, all of the staff was super helpful and super kind, including Sophia at the front desk and at breakfast!

The team is super nice and forthcoming. The location is absolutely great: breakfast, dinner or an evening beer or wine on the terrace with a view on the temples! You could even walk to the Valle dei Templi Breakfast was very nice with a lot of local products. Our room was very good for B&B standards.

Residence La Gancia offers self-catering apartments in the centre of Trapani, 30 metres from the public beach. It features a roof terrace with views of the town and the bay and a fitness centre. Really enjoyed staying at La Gancia. The concierge, Andrea, was super helpful. We took all his recommendations to enjoy Trapani - the restaurants (La Perla), Cable car to the top of Erice, sunset and a beer on the hotel rooftop - and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this hotel.
