Family run, excellent breakfast up on the terrace. Stefano made us feel so welcome and told us where to go and guided us on the restaurants. Highly recommend.

Very clean large bedroom and bathroom. With high ceilings. Air con was perfect. Young staff very polite and spoke English. Only stayed one night but if I knew I would have changed my other bookings.

Every room comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Some rooms offer views of the square, and some overlook the garden. Sylvia was delightful and very helpful with luggage taxi bookings etc. Her attention to detail was excellent and she was a most gracious host. Breakfast was likewise very good.

The friendly staff at the Borgo Pantano can help with local information. The hotel’s extensive grounds include a terrace with tables and chairs. Great location, big junior suite, gardens, big swimming pool +bio pool. Great breakfast and 1st class restaurant. Staff very responsive and eager to help and serve. One of the best resorts we have visited. 6.5 km away from Syracuse. Gardens , lawns and fruit trees.

Set on Ortigia Island overlooking the Ionian Sea, Algilà Ortigia Charme is right on the seafront. It features elegant, air-conditioned rooms equipped with antique furnishings from the 1700s. WiFi here is free. Perfect location opposite the sea, room was a great size with lovely decor. Lots of character and a chic theme running through the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, coffee was delicious! We got valet parking at €30 a day which took the stress out of driving in Ortigia. The town is stunning and well worth 2-3 days of your trip. Amazing good, friendly people, beautiful scenery and the archeological site is 10/10 incredible. We can’t wait to return!

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Giovanni is a wonderful host, with nothing too much trouble. My room and terrace were large, with great air conditioning. So well located, with everything close by in this stunning part of the world, and his restaurant tips were superb. Great to compare French and Sicilian croissants for breakfast!

The "Amunì Cocktail Bar & Restaurant" serves new and traditional Sicilian recipes. Drinks are served at the bar and can be enjoyed in Piazza Minerva square. The staff were excellent from the reception to the dining room and restaurant staff they could not do enough to help us. The room was spotless and the cleaners were friendly and lovely. Roberto the manager was fantastic. They were all so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel
