Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. Location was great. Host was wonderful. Breakfast fabulous.

Large air conditioned spacious sitting and bedroom, a small mini fridge was much appreciated. Comfortable bed and space to hang out our clothes. Furnishings unique and comfortable. Great wonderful hosts. Fabulous breakfasts.

The two room suite we stayed in, with 3 adults, worked well for our family. It was elegant and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. The room and location was great, and owner Giovanni was super helpful. An unexpected treat of coffee and Croissants was a welcome surprise. We loved Ortigia and our stay at Palazzo Del Sol .

We will definitely return to Giuggiulena
