Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. Excellent location in Ortigia. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Stefano, the host, was extremely nice and helpful, offering us best recommendations for making the best of our trip in Sicilly. Breakfast was served on the terrace (sufficient options and excellent quality).

With a terrace, La Residenza del Reginale is located in Ortigia, the historical centre of Siracusa. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The property was super central in the old part of town. Really awesome host. Room was spacious and nice. All very clean. Good price.

Set in a historic building, Palazzo Gilistro features accommodation with free WiFi access. It is located in Ortygia, a 5-minute walk from the Temple of Apollo. Large air conditioned spacious sitting and bedroom, a small mini fridge was much appreciated. Comfortable bed and space to hang out our clothes. Furnishings unique and comfortable. Great wonderful hosts. Fabulous breakfasts.

The location is great, the room is really beautiful, the rooftop terrasse has an amazing view for sunset and the breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend Henry’s House and the staff is very nice and accommodating.

We LOVED Il Salotto di Maria Pia! The rooms were nicely furnished and very quiet. The bathroom was modern and superb, loved the shower. The BEST part was that our room had a little balcony overlooking the Piazza Duomo (and I mean it was RIGHT on the piazza looking towards the cathedral that was built on the site of an Ancient Greek temple with columns still visible!) and there was a superb cafe for breakfast just outside the door. So the location was SUPERB. There is no traffic on the piazza either. Ortigia is very chill and quiet (definitely the best area to stay in Syracuse), and it was wonderful watching people wander by beneath our balcony. Our host Paola was very sweet and tried very hard to make sure everything was going well for us. She was very easy to stay in touch with via WhatsApp. Even though she was dealing with some family issues, she made sure to check in with us throughout our stay and made sure our room was tidied while we were out. Overall a great place to stay. Note this is not a hotel-type stay, but rooms in a building.

Set in a historic 19th-century building in Siracusa's main square, Il Duomo offers en suite rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The Lungomare di Levante seafront promenade is 100 metres away. Stefano and his wife, the owners of the place, were very charming, kind and professional, fulfilled every request we asked for, always wanted to help in everything to make our stay in their special and charming boutique hotel a wonderful and most pleasant experience. Thanks to the wonderful couple. The experience of staying at the hotel in ancient historical building in the best possible location and the owners and are such lovely people made the experience wonderful.

Palazzo Artemide - VRetreats is in the heart of Ortigia Island, next to the Cathedral. It offers free lobby Wi-Fi and modern, air-conditioned rooms. Fantastic location, great amenities, lovely bright room, great light in the bathroom too. Staff were super helpful
