Set in the heart of Orvieto in a historic building, La Magnolia is just 100 metres from the cathedral. It offers free bike rental and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Unbelievably beautiful, kind staff. Breakfast came with the reservation. Right in center of town, but windows faced away from foot traffic so balcony and rooms were very quiet.

Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Comfortable room, great location . The property has fabulous art work and is tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent- friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend Orvieto and the Hotel Duomo.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. It was spacious, had a nice view, and was clean. Above all, the spectacular view of Val d'Orcia from the room was so great that I didn't want to leave the room. It would be a waste to stay for one day.

The room is really very beautiful with an amazing view. We were warm and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Right near the central square (100m) but quiet. There are lovely restuarants nearby and its a lovely town. It was such a treat to stay there. Thank you Alessandro!
