Only 150 metres from the centre of Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Piccolo Hotel La Valle offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Val D'Orcia valley, where you can enjoy breakfast. Everything was simply “wow”! The hosts were incredibly kind, they waited for us even though we were late for check-in due to traffic. The location is perfect. It’s right on the edge of Pienza, which gave us privacy and the peace and quiet we were looking for during our vacation. The most important thing for us was cleanliness, and this place exceeded all expectations. Everything was spotless, and the cleaning staff came every single day. Breakfast was also excellent and we truly appreciated that they offered plant-based milk, not just the regular one. We’re leaving with the most beautiful memories and truly hope to come back soon 🤗

Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and terrace, Drogheria e Locanda Franci offers rooms and a private villa in Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia. We loved everything about hotel and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also excellent.

Amazing concierge service. Valentina went over and beyond to provide us with a full itinerary (including all bookings) of the best places to see, eat and drink in the area. Thanks to her thoughtful itinerary we maximised our 3 days to the full. Breakfast was a lovely addition with fresh fare as well as fresh bakery from the hotel's bakery. This is a very personal hotel and we were made to feel very special. It is part of a group which also owns three excellent restaurants and other accommodation. The hotel is very connected with the top wine producers in the region so can provide VIP bookings. Breakfast was delicious. The old style Palazzo room was fitted with modern comfort ... comfortable beds, excellent linen, modern shower, plenty of drinking water courtesy of the hotel (essential in the heat of summer), quiet room, spacious ensuite, good WiFi etc. Looking forward to our next trip there.

Breakfast is offsite in a trattoria owned by same group but very generous portions and made to order - much better than the usual buffet breakfasts. Free public parking nearby. Great value for what you get!

Hotel Vecchia Oliviera is located in the historic center of the city of Brunello and stands next to Porta Cerbaia, one of the six ancient gates to the city of Montalcino. Loved the stay here, ideal location for exploring both Montalcino on food and the area by car. The hosts are amazing, friendly and helpful in every way they can.

Il Tosco was a fabulous hotel. Everything was perfect. Elena was charming and responsive to all of our needs both pre-travel and whiles staying there. Angelina was an incredible hostess/manager and handled all of our needs quickly and professionally. The breakfast was superior and the cakes were awesome -- make sure you try each one. The history of the place was very interesting (built in the 1200's) and we felt very warm and comfortable there. The views from our window of the Tuscan countryside was fabulous. I will return here always on future trips to Montepulciano. The Location is great as it is easy to walk anywhere in Montepulciano from their location. Thank you Il Tosco for a wonderful stay.
