Villa Nottola is a former noble residence in the countryside of Montepulciano, besides the namesake winery. It offers a sun terrace with swimming pool. I liked the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, the look of the place, very beatifuly authentic with a big pool in an olive garden. On top was a very tasty breakfast and very good wines from their own batch. Highly recommend it and will certainly come back when I'll visit the area again!

Amazing staff - they are the ones who also serve breakfast at the restaurant (wonderful ladies and breakfast was great). Apartment is as advertised - spacious and well stocked. There was an issue with water leaking out the shower that they helped to fix but I think that is just european bathrooms in general. The place is spacious, clean and most areas were renovated. Housekeeping comes daily and replenishes toiletries. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were very nice - the 3rd one with the cot was slightly lacklustre than the rest of the apartment but still clean and functional. Location was also great.

The hotel itself is spread out around the city,in three different sites. We were a bit surprised at first, but it gave us a chance to walk around the city. The building where we were was fabulously decorated. The breakfast was fantastic.

Hotel Vecchia Oliviera is located in the historic center of the city of Brunello and stands next to Porta Cerbaia, one of the six ancient gates to the city of Montalcino. Very nice hotel, good location, close to the center, where you can find lot of wine bars. Staff were very nice and proffesional. They gave us lot of useful informations.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, gorgeous room and ensuite. Signora Clarissa is an angel. I arrived after a long day of walking in the Via Francigena with nothing to eat (restaurant next door closed for holidays) so the Signora offered me whatever I wanted from the breakfast buffet food. The bed was comfortable and totally quiet. I really had a great night. Breakfast was more like Brunch, Signora made me scrambled eggs and pancakes plus juice, pastries, cakes, meat, cheese and good coffee. High recommend and only a 10 minute walk back to the VF path to Gallina/Radicofani.
