It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Everything was great, we could enjoy some authentic hospitability. Our traditional style room was very nice and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was well trained, professional, and polite. We have been picked up at the bus station and brought to the hotel on arrival, as well on our way back. We could enjoy the public and private onsen as well which as a very nice experience, especially seeing Mt. Fuji from the private onsen as a small family. The kaiseki diner we had after bathing was superb, and it was an experience on it's own. Even we only spent one night there, we could relax and wind down. We opted to take the cable car nearby to see Mt. Fuji, and rented some bikes to cycle around the other day before we departed from the town.

Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. Really really really wonderful service, especially pickup service!!!

The warm ambiance is further enhanced by local artists' paintings adorning the walls. Everything was great. Good location. Very welcoming staff. Liked the Onsen. Traditional meals were great.
